This Cookie Policy explains how Muvibox ("Muvibox", "we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on our website and progressive web app (the "Service"). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They let the Service remember your actions and preferences (such as login and display settings) so you don't have to re-enter them on every visit.
2. Cookies we use
- Authentication (essential) — session cookies set by our sign-in system keep you logged in securely. Without these the Service cannot function.
- Preferences — for example gb-theme, which remembers whether you chose light or dark mode.
- Security & reliability — cookies and similar storage used for rate limiting, fraud prevention, and keeping playback sessions stable.
We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Payment providers (Korapay, Stripe) may set their own cookies on their checkout pages, governed by their own policies.
3. Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will sign you out and may prevent parts of the Service (like playback and purchases) from working.
4. Changes & contact
We may update this policy as the Service evolves; material changes will be posted here with a new "last updated" date. Questions? Email privacy@gistbox.tv.
